Why does love seem to either flitter for a brief moment or burn forever?
Ash Kanna’s new song “Find” explores this uncomfortable but necessary relationship between our intuition and linear thinking.
Find is an admonition to embrace now, trusting our instincts. Because when we are prepared to let go of the need to control everything, fear subsiding allows that visceral, palpable connection between two people to grow beyond the constrictions we may incoherently impose.

You’ve heard me say it before. I don’t play because I like to, I play because I have to. Sometimes you just have to record a quick solo before dinner. Tonight is such a night. As usual, one take only, no editing. It’s a blast from a not-so-distant past, where glam, processed guitars and wailing solos reigned supreme. There’s nothing wrong with reliving it a bit, even if it is only 16 bars…and even if played on keyboard…all is cool, with love.
Ash.
Now you can listen right here, to this rather tasty synth solo I recorded live tonight, in REAL-TIME and 1 take, no editing, no software control or automation. This is as real as it gets…mistakes included - ASH KANNA
